Q: Who can submit a nomination?
A: We accept nominations from anyone. Feel free to nominate yourself, your peers, etc. Most lists are focused on hospital and health system executives, unless we explicitly state the nominations are open for all healthcare leaders.

 

Q: Can I nominate myself?
A: Yes! We encourage you to nominate yourself and others. We do not take the nominator into account when selecting our final honorees.

 

Q: My nomination was accidentally submitted before it was done/I need to add something to my submission after it was submitted. What should I do?
A: Please feel free to submit a new nomination online and we will consider the most recent one. Otherwise, please email Anna at afalvey@beckershealthcare.com with the additional information and we will be sure to consider it.

 

Q: Do multiple submissions for the same list increase the chances that my nomination will be selected? 
A: No, please only submit one nomination for an individual/organization per list. 

 

Q: Can I nominate an individual/organization for multiple different lists?
A: Yes, of course! Feel free to submit individuals/organizations for any applicable lists. 

 

Q: I would like a list to be corrected due to a typo or inaccuracy. What should I do?
A: We try to ensure that each profile is as accurate as possible! Please email Anna at afalvey@beckershealthcare.com with any corrections and the list will be updated as soon as possible.  

 

Q: Why wasn't the leader/organization that I nominated selected?
A: All nominations that we receive are impressive, but some of our lists are more competitive than others. For our more competitive lists, we take into consideration outside rankings including US News, Healthgrades, Newsweek, CMS star ratings, The Leapfrog Group and more, as well as qualitative elements like new technologies, research, leadership within the community and outcomes or patient satisfaction data.

 

Q: I submitted a nomination. When will the list be released?
A: We try to publish lists within a month after the list deadline.
